<image:title>Your Guide - A good guide should be part fish, a good teacher, and a bit of a comic to keep things fun…</image:title>
<image:caption>Catching fish is certainly the primary goal, but learning and improving techniques and tactics while having fun is an added bonus when we fish together. I’m happy to pass along what I’ve learned - knowledge has no value unless it’s shared.</image:caption>

<image:caption>We use and provide the very best gear and equipment in the business– period. I couldn’t operate without the support of a great group of businesses and people. Some are nationally known manufacturers along and many are local folks who fish the same way we do, and therefore make the very best, purpose-built products available. If you’re serious about light tackle fishing on the Bay, take a few minutes to check out what these folks have to offer. <image:title>Trip Information - May & June</image:title>
<image:caption>Eastern Bay and the waters surrounding Kent Island provide great opportunities for a mix of the large ocean-run and smaller resident stripers as they work their way down from the spawning areas in the upper portion of the Chesapeake. We target and follow the fish from the shallows out to offshore structure as they move through the area. The bite is usually very consistent from early May thru mid-June.</image:caption>

<image:title>Trip Information - August & September</image:title>
<image:caption>Resident school size stripers blitz baitfish on the surface while the gulls crash from above. Bluefish and Spanish mackerel are often lurking in the mix and provide an opportunity for a Chesapeake grand slam. This is prime time to catch large numbers of stripers on any tackle you wish.</image:caption>

<image:title>Trip Information - October & November</image:title>
<image:caption>As the water cools multiple fishing patterns develop in October. We may start by casting topwater lures in the shallows, then move to jig on offshore structure, and end the day chasing breaking fish. October is our wild card month, the bait and fish are moving at this time of the year and the fishing can be great or challenging.</image:caption>

<image:title>Trip Information - December</image:title>
<image:caption>Early winter can be great for both quantity and quality. We fish the Lower Bay and Potomac River area at this time of the year to intercept the migration of ocean run stripers working their way in from the coast and the resident fish migrating down the Bay to their winter grounds. This is big water, big fish fishing at its best.</image:caption>
